Holiday Feedback

Ian & Irene Dyer and their friends Sandra & Brian- June 2010

Going home today after two lovely weeks in this villa. It is a really comfortable place and great location. Dalyan is a lovely little town with lots of character. Lots of restaurants to choose from.

We agree that the Bayaz Grill recommended by Louise & Bryden is a lovely riverside location with great food at reasonable prices. Had five BBQ's during our stay all very successful.

Looking for a trip up the river we were lucky to come across Captain Verdat and his boat Kubilayi. So good was the first trip, we took a second including his BBQ lunch. At 20TL per person the food was excellent. You hire the boat for 80TL per day, between four of us, good value. He and his wife are a great couple and can't do enough for you.

Shared the villa holiday with Ian & Irene and echo all of their views. Recommend a visit to Dalyan Iz cafe and art gallery. Lovely snacks and cakes. While there buy a copy of the Okular village guide (15TL). Describes some good walks from short & easy to strenuous.

If you like live music visit Sun Ray Bar, has a great view at the back overlooking the river and Rock Tombs in Dalyan.

This is our first visit to Dalyan and it is a place full of character which grows on you more and more as time passes. Finally try restaurants and bars up stream from the town centre too. Although no rock tombs there are some excellent places with great views over the river.
