Villa Louise - Booking Information

1. Booking Procedure

Availability is always up to date. We have a LIVE and secure booking system in place.
The booking form is best completed and submitted online as we show live availability and your dates are automatically reserved for you. Reservations can also be made by telephone. We will forward a booking form to you and provisionally book your dates
.

Please note that on-line submission of a booking form secures the reservation for 7 days. Failure to provide card payment or cheque for the deposit, together with the completed booking form, within 7 days from this date will lead to the reservation being cancelled.

If the start date of your holiday is within 8 weeks from the date of booking (or reservation), you must pay 100% of the rental cost of the villa, together with the security deposit, within 7 days of the reservation date (for on-line reservations) or with the booking form (for postal bookings).

A confirmation email will be sent to you once your booking form is received. However, please note that a contract is not formed with the owner until your deposit £150 (per week booked) has been received by us.

A Pre-Holiday welcome pack will be emailed to you with useful & helpful information about your stay at Villa Louise.

The balance must be received by us no later than 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. A reminder will be automatically sent to you prior to this time. Failure to pay the balance on time will be deemed to be cancellation of your booking and your deposit will be automatically forfeited.

We require a security deposit of £200, payable 8 weeks in advance of your holiday (payable with balance). The security deposit will be refunded (less any deductions for breakages) within 28 days of your return from holiday. (We are not worried about minor breakages e.g. a broken piece of crockery, but we would appreciate it if you let us know anyway).

2. Payment methods
We can accept payment in the following ways:
a) by cheque in Sterling (made out to: Bryden McKinnie)
b) by Direct Bank transfer to our account (details will be emailed to you)
c) Debit Cards, Visa & Mastercard (we add a 2.5% fee for credit cards)
d) Your statement will show card payments as from 'chocolate falls' Chocolate Falls is a company owned by Mrs McKinnie - www.chocolatefalls.info

3. Insurance
We strongly advise that you take out adequate Insurance cover for all members of your party and all aspects of your holiday as soon as possible after booking. We are fully insured, but we cannot be held responsible or accept any liability for your personal property or for any personal injury, accident or death incurred during your stay. Please ensure that you take care of your belongings.

You will be given a door key for the villa and there is a small safe for your use but please note that you remain fully liable for any property stored in the safe.

As form E111 is not applicable in Turkey at the present time, it is very important that your policy covers you and all members of your party for any form of medical treatment that you may need.

4. Cancellation
Should you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing. The following cancellation charges will apply and will be calculated from the date your written notification is received by us:
More than 8 weeks prior to arrival date: Loss of Deposit
6 – 8 weeks prior to arrival date: 50% of total holiday cost
4 – 6 weeks prior to arrival date: 75% of total holiday cost
Less than 4 weeks prior to arrival date: 100% of total holiday cost

You may be able to reclaim these charges under the terms of your insurance policy, depending on the reason for cancellation. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking, we will refund all monies paid to us, including your deposit and will be under no further liability. In particular the villa owner will not have any liability for any other losses or additional costs that may be incurred by you.

5. Accommodation
The property is reserved exclusively for those people named on the booking form. No animals are allowed in the property (except guide dogs). You will not have access to the Villa on the day of arrival until after 1600hrs and you must vacate by 1100hrs on your day of departure unless otherwise agreed.
For the comfort and health of all guests, the villa owners request that you and your fellow guests do not smoke within the villa (ashtrays are provide if you wish to smoke on the balcony or terrace).
At all times during your stay, you are responsible for the security and care of the property, its furniture, fixtures and fittings. Cleaning (including change of bedding) is done once per week during your stay. Any necessary maintenance on the pool is carried out discreetly.
You are responsible for all members of your party taking proper precautions to ensure their own safety and to take proper regard for the dangers posed to small children by the proximity of the swimming pool.
Should you experience any problems during your stay, please contact Mehmet and he will do his best to resolve any issues that arise.
Emergency contact details will be provided in the welcome pack, along with instructions for equipment etc.

6. Villa Location & Keys
Between 3 & 7 weeks prior to your departure date providing that final payment has been received specific instructions as to our villa's location will be sent be it by post or email regarding contact numbers, key collection, etc. If you have pre-booked a transfer your driver will have the villa keys.

7. Exclusions
The contract excludes; flights to and from Turkey, insurance and meals.
